ROWELL DIZON

MALLARI

"Ako Rowell Dizon Mallari and pinanganak ako sa Mabalacat Pampanga.

My first song na ginawa ko ang title nya is “Sana Naman” I was lying in bed at sobrang init ng panahon so I hit Gmaj chord then I started singing “Sana Naman, Ibuhos mo na oh Ulan”… Iba ung naramdaman ko after completing the song, Sa madaling salita sobrang natuwa ako dahil I just made my first ever song and till now still doing it and so much having fun. My family ay may hilig din sa musika from my aunties and uncles and they played instruments too so sa kanila ko nakuha ung hilig ko sa musika.

Si Francis M din at PNE, YANO, RiverMAYA, Datus Tribes, The Youth, Teeth, Siakol, Erectus and other local bands.

I remember singing in public noong 8 palang ako sa isang bar sa Balibago Angeles City and I sang “Everything I Do, I Do It For You by Bryan Adams.

I formed my first band noong highschool kasama ko mga classmates ko at tropa ko,  “The Hooligans Pirates” ang tawag namin sa band namin dati. JS PROM sa school namin noon, i  asked my adviser kung puede kami magperform and that’s it, it was a hit kc madaming natuwa pati principals and deans. Then I had my 2nd Group “CHILDS PLAY “ then naging “PROPAGANDA MOVEMENT” dahil nag-iba kami ng tema ng pondo from variety to Rap Metal. Lead Guitarist ako sa group namin na ito and I won the Best Guitarist sa isa sa sinalihan namin na Battle Of The Bands sa may Mabalacat Pampanga.

Then my last band is “MINDDRAIN". Naging vocalist naman ako dito and we won 2nd place sa isang Battle of the Bands too at tumugtog sa mga ibang gigs din.

Noong 22 ako I decided to go abroad sa UAE and tuloy pa din pagsulat mas lalo akong naging active dahil lonely ang tema malayo sa mga mahal sa buhay so dito ko naisulat ung mga songs ko na nakapost sa FB at Youtube channel ko. Sa Abu Dhabi I formed my group din kasama ko sister ko at brother name namin is “Kilala Mo Si Kero” short for “KILALANG MUSIKERO” at itong name na ito ay galing din sya sa isa sa mga song na sinulat ko at ang nilalaman nito ay about my life in music.

We played sa mga Gigs, sa mga FOR A CAUSE concert like “Typhoon HABAGAT” and more.

One thing that I was proud of is one of my song  entitled  “SAKTO” was nominated for BEST ACOUSTIC/ FOLK/COUNTRY SONG sa NDMusic  Awards (Independent Music Awards 2015) hosted by Sir Njel De Mesa.

I really love writing songs kahit nasaan ako, I do it sa eroplano man, When I was in Kuwait and  i visited Saudi for a short work visit,  I wrote songs. And when I play my guitar specially ung mga sinulat ko, I always feel that music is bridge for me going out from the real world dahil relax ang feeling. I dream of touching their lives via  my songs.

Being able to write my own songs for me is like being on top of the world. Sobrang ganon ang pakiramdam everytime i finalize a new song, unexplainable ung feelling.

And ask questions sa mga social medias group or forum if my questions kayo on how to start with it. Lahat ng manunulat ay iba-iba ung ways nila at inspirasyon sa pag-buo and u will find ur own way along d way.

AROUND THE WORLD

CHARLIE "PUSAH55"

ESPINEDA JR

"Ako  si Charlie Espineda Jr. (A.K.A Pusah Fiftyfive). Laking Makati po ako. Isa po akong tattoo artist, music composer, rapper and music video editor.

CHLINT

VALENZUELA

Chlint’s musical journey began as a tiny spark of inspiration while sitting on his grandmother’s sofa watching the Beatles' Anniversary show.  This gave him the vision and passion to one day form a band of his own.  When he was 12 years old, his mother borrowed a classical nylon acoustic guitar from his cousin for him to practice on during his summer vacation.  It was during this time that he learned that his father was once in a band years ago.  He was a member for just one year, after which he set aside his musical aspirations and established his own business.  During the summer vacation, his father seized the opportunity to teach him the 4 chords he could still recall at that time, which were C-Am-F-G.  This was enough for this young aspiring musician to continue his musical exploration through his own efforts.

At around 14 years old, he reveled in basic songwriting. They were simple compositions that echoed his life experiences and emotions during his formative years.  His songs represent the intricate interpersonal relationships and his God, the Reverent Creator.  The song called "DOG," is a reflection of his understanding of his God.  Although the first few songs he composed are mere faded distant memories, the two songs that still linger in his mind are “If I can see you” and “E & C#m”.  As the years passed, he revised his compositions and they evolved into more complex and mature songs.

His goal as a songwriter is to be a pertinent fixture in the Philippine music industry, and to showcase the magnificent talent of a Filipino songwriter on the worldwide stage.  It is also his hope that the Filipino people back in the Philippines will embrace his music.

He is a seafarer by profession since 2003.  Unfortunately, he had shied away from writing songs about his experiences at sea until 2011, where he had a chance to talk to Ms. Mimi Andrade of FILCOMDEC. She suggested that he compose a song about the seas, because he has sailed the seas for a long time. This challenge resulted in his putting his thoughts on paper.  With a guitar on this hand and few hours spent in his cabin, he was able to complete his original song entitled, “The Liquid Mirror."   Throughout the years, his collection of songs has grown to nearly a hundred.  As a member of the Church of God, Int'l, it is his dream to one day submit an entry to the largest gospel songwriting contest in the Philippines, “A Song Of Praise Music Festival (ASOP)."   He hopes that the person listening to his praise songs can feel the blessings of God.

His latest collection of compositions will be recorded under the album titled, "Goin’ to Turkeys."    Just to name a few, the following titles, “Teacher Anne," “Umiibig din sa 'yo," “One More Try," “Fairy Tales,"  “I don't know," and “My Brown Coffee” will be included in the album together with his other remarkable compositions.
